Outages
Power outages are an unfortunate event in this day and age, as almost everything, from appliances to entertainment gadgetry, uses electricity.
Charles Mix Electric employees strive to provide electricity 100% of the time, but unfortunately things happen preventing that from being the case.
If you do experience a power outage, follow these steps:
- Check the fuses or breakers in your home or building.
- Check the breakers under or adjacent to your electric meter. (Some do not have breakers, only a disconnect handle)
- Telephone your neighbors to see if they have electricity.
- Telephone our lineman on call at the numbers below. Be sure to have your location or street address available so the crew can quickly find you.
